Heart of Yorkshire Education Group invites applications for a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering, focusing on Pneumatics & Hydraulics. The role involves teaching both practical and theoretical aspects, contributing to strong links with industry, and supporting students to develop essential engineering skills.

The successful candidate will have a Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering, plus a degree or equivalent experience, and be ready to engage with students and industry partners.

Qualifications

• Hold a Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
• Hold a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a qualification of an equivalent level, or equivalent experience.
• Have experience in a relevant industry and/or educational setting.
• Have practical skills and theoretical knowledge of Mechanical Engineering.
• Hold GCSE A*- C / 9 - 4 in English and Maths or equivalent.
• An IQA qualification is desirable but not essential.

• Teach practical and theoretical courses in Mechanical Engineering.
• Shape the future of students by providing them with engineering skills, knowledge and training.
