Middlesbrough College is seeking a Maths Lecturer to deliver GCSE Mathematics with a focus on supporting students to overcome barriers and achieve success. The role involves high-quality teaching, assessment and contribution to a culture of excellence in teaching, learning and assessment.
The role requires QTS or willingness to work towards a teaching qualification, along with a degree and GCSEs at C/4+. The post is full-time and permanent, with a 37-hour week and generous annual leave.

Salary:Lecturer Salary Scale, Pt 5 – Pt 16 £30,600 – £45,087 per annum, subject to a progression criteria*
Contract:Full Time, Permanent
Hours:37 hours per week
Teaching Hours:864 per annum
Annual Leave:45 days per annum plus statutory Bank Holidays
Pension:Teachers’ Pension Scheme
*The salary progression criteria beyond point 11 of the Lecturer scale will be based on you achieving and maintaining, on an annual basis, the Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) or QTS. To progress beyond point 14 of the Lecturer salary scale, you will be expected to achieve and maintain the Advanced Teacher Status (ATS).
