Southampton Solent University’s Warsash Maritime School is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Marine Engineering to contribute to the delivery of our specialist Marine Engineering and Electro-Technical Officer seafarer programmes. The focus will be on delivering our Management level UK MCA Engineering Knowledge preparation courses and other marine engineering courses.
The successful candidate will participate in the school's research and commercial activities and contribute to enhancing the student experience.

Starting salary depends on qualifications and experience within the stated salary band. The role attracts a WMA allowance of 10% in addition to the base salary.
Additional benefits include 35 days of leave plus public holidays and scheduled university closure periods. Development pathways are available to upskill up to PhD level and to undertake a postgraduate teaching qualification if not already held.
