Job summary
Warwickshire College Group is seeking a Lecturer in Sports & Public Service to join our Technology division at Rugby. You will contribute to the teaching programme and develop engaging materials to support learners across the curriculum.
The successful candidate will hold a degree or equivalent in a related discipline, meet DBS and safeguarding requirements, and commit to ongoing professional development within a supportive college environment.
Qualifications
- A degree, HNC or equivalent in a related discipline.
- GCSE Maths and English (A-C) or equivalent.
- Teacher Training Qualification or willingness to undertake.
- Commitment to continuing professional development.
Responsibilities
- Teaching: contribute to the teaching programme delivering the subject.
- Preparation and Assessment: develop materials, plan and assess the course, keep records.
- Administration: undertake administrative tasks for the programmes under Head of School.
- Quality Systems: internal verification and participate in lesson observations.
- Health and Safety: ensure a safe working environment in line with policy.
- Safeguarding: safeguard and promote welfare of children and vulnerable adults.
