Wiltshire College & University Centre in Chippenham invites applications for a Lecturer in Plumbing & Heating Engineering. Qualifications

  • Gas competency is required.
  • IQA & Assessors Award or willingness to work towards one.
  • Industry experience in Plumbing & Heating.
  • Strong practical skills and up-to-date knowledge of industry standards.
  • Experience mentoring others in workplace or education.
  • Teaching qualification welcomed; support to achieve it.

Responsibilities

  • Teach and assess learners across Plumbing & Heating programmes, including full-time courses and apprenticeships.
  • Deliver engaging, practical sessions in workshop and classroom environments.
  • Support learners in developing industry-standard skills, knowledge, and safe practices.
  • Embed current industry practices, regulations, and sustainability in teaching.
  • Maintain high standards of health & safety, safeguarding and professionalism.
  • Track learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
