Job summary

Leeds Beckett University is recruiting a Grade 7 Nursing Lecturer to join the Nursing and Health Care Subject Group in the School of Health. You will contribute to teaching, learning, assessment and feedback, and support externally regulated programmes across Nursing and Healthcare.

You will inspire students, work with external partners and colleagues to deliver high-quality education, and participate in curriculum development and scholarly activity within a vibrant school.

Qualifications

  • Experience in teaching, learning, assessment and feedback.
  • Ability to deliver externally regulated programmes across Nursing and Healthcare.
  • Willingness to lead, inspire and support students and colleagues.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are currently recruiting to a Grade 7 Nursing Lecturer to join the Nursing and Health Care Subject Group in the School of Health. The School of Health is a vibrant school comprising a diverse range of disciplines and programmes, including Nursing and Healthcare, Allied Health Professions, Biomedical Science and Public Health and Social Work. The Nursing and Healthcare subject area offers a range of undergraduate and post graduate provision, including apprenticeships and collaborative courses. We pride ourselves on the close working partnerships with our students and external partner employers to create and develop the nursing leaders of the future. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to support our growing Nursing and Healthcare subject group at Leeds Beckett University. If you are passionate about student experience and student outcomes, and interested in curriculum development, we would very much like to hear from you.

We are seeking to appoint an individual to join our team, who wishes to use their teaching, learning, assessment and feedback skills to make a positive difference to our learners, the communities we serve and the employer and external organisations we work with. You will have the passion and drive and leadership skills to inspire, motivate and support students and colleagues to deliver high quality, externally regulated programmes across all aspects of the subject area.
