The Role
We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering to teach Level 1, 2 and 3 subjects on Vocational Programmes. The successful candidate must possess a proven track record of delivering workshop practicals involving CNC, milling, and lathe work.
There will be opportunities to deliver apprenticeship units at Level 2 and 3, as well as assessing students in the workplace for those who hold the appropriate qualifications. There may also be CPD opportunities to acquire these qualifications at the College.
As a Lecturer, you will be expected to take full ownership of your teaching, learning and assessment, and complete the relevant marking for the courses. We expect you to be committed to CPD as it is essential for continued professional growth and improvement.
