Blackburn College is seeking a Lecturer in Foundation Learning for a part-time position. The role involves delivering foundation level qualifications, contributing to curriculum development, and supporting student retention and achievement.
The successful candidate will have Level 4+ and a recognised teaching qualification, with experience in engaging High Needs students being desirable. The appointment reports to the Head of Inclusion and supports inclusive, high-quality provision for all
Part-time - £28,273 to £42,655 Pro Rata, Per Annum

Responsible to the Head of Inclusion you will be part of a curriculum team, contributing to the growth and development of the Foundation Learning programmes. This includes focusing on retention, achievement and student success alongside pastoral support, curriculum design/development and ensuring a high standard of quality provision is offered to all learners including NEET and High Needs Students.
With a relevant Level 4 or above qualification and a recognised teaching qualification, you will have successful experience of delivering qualifications at foundation level. You will also be able to demonstrate the ability to motivate and inspire students and to develop innovative teaching materials. Experience of working with High Needs students is desirable.
