Job summary

Reaseheath College is a forward-thinking institution near Nantwich, offering an exceptional equine education with industry collaboration and modern facilities. We seek a Lecturer in Equine to plan, deliver, assess and evaluate courses, ensuring an outstanding learner experience and strong curriculum development as a Course Manager.

You will manage student progress, quality assurance, and build links with industry to enhance employability and reputation, while inspiring learners across FE/HE

Qualifications

  • Hold a minimum Level 4 qualification, ideally an Equine Degree (Level 6); a Master’s (Level 7) is desirable.
  • Possess Level 2 Maths & English or equivalent.
  • Have a recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards).
  • BHS Stage 3 Coach (BHSAI) is desirable.
  • Demonstrate relevant experience in teaching and/or the equine industry.
  • Be an excellent communicator with strong organisational and IT skills.

Responsibilities

Overview

Reaseheath College is a forward-thinking and dynamic college providing an excellent educational experience to over 4,500 students each year. About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Lecturer in Equine to join our dedicated team. You will play a key role in planning, delivering, assessing, and evaluating equine courses, ensuring an outstanding learner experience. As Course Manager, you will take responsibility for curriculum development, student progress, and quality assurance, while building strong links with industry to enhance employability and reputation.

Key responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and assessment across equine programmes.

The successful candidate will
  • Hold a minimum Level 4 qualification, ideally an Equine Degree (Level 6); a Master’s (Level 7) is desirable.
