Previous teaching experience, although desirable, is not essential. Passing on your knowledge and experience to future talent can be hugely rewarding and gives you the opportunity to shape the future of your industry's workforce.

Relevant industry experience is preferable and in addition, you need to be an enthusiastic and motivated individual who can engage with FE students to ensure that they reach their full potential. Teacher training towards a recognised qualification can be provided while you work.
