Qualifications

  • Industry experience within Electrical Installation or a related electrical discipline.
  • Relevant Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
  • Strong practical and technical knowledge of electrical systems and installation practices.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A passion for developing learners and helping them achieve their potential.
  • Teaching qualification (preferred) such as PGCE/Cert Ed/DTLLS or Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training.
  • Assessor and Internal Quality Assurer qualifications are desirable.
  • Experience teaching within Further Education, Apprenticeships, or Adult Learning environments.
  • Knowledge of City & Guilds and EAL qualifications.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and industry-experienced Lecturer in Electrical to join a dynamic and growing department in Northamptonshire.

This is an exciting opportunity for an electrical professional or experienced lecturer to play a key role in developing the next generation of electricians and electrical engineers. You will deliver engaging and high-quality teaching across a range of electrical programmes, supporting learners to achieve their qualifications and progress into successful careers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and training across electrical programmes to full-time and part-time learners.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

Essential
  • Industry experience within Electrical Installation or a related electrical discipline.
  • Relevant Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
  • Strong practical and technical knowledge of electrical systems and installation practices.

Desirable
