Job summary

Global Banking School is seeking Lecturers to teach across undergraduate Computing modules, with flexibility to accommodate weekdays, evenings and weekends. The role involves delivering modules on technology, software and data, developing course materials, and assessing students.

You will hold a Master's degree in a relevant subject (PhD desirable) and have prior UK HE lecturing experience, with expertise in areas such as programming, databases, networks, cybersecurity or AI.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required; PhD desirable.
• Prior UK higher education lecturing experience.
• Ability to teach across undergraduate computing modules.
• Knowledge areas include programming, databases, networks, cybersecurity, and data management.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess student work to achieve learning outcomes.
• Develop, update, and improve course materials.
• Employ diverse teaching methods and learning materials.
• Engage in staff development, peer observations, and administrative duties.
• Maintain accurate student records and reporting.
• Work under pressure to meet deadlines and manage workload.
