Main duties and responsibilities
To develop and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate modules within the School of Life and Medical Sciences. Contribute to the development of new programmes such as Medicine and MSc Neuroscience. Engage in scholarly activities including research, pedagogic research, curriculum development, and commercial activities for the School.Skills and experience required
Industry, Higher Education, or research experience in neuroscience/neurobiology. Teaching experience in Higher Education with understanding of pedagogical principles. Knowledge of pharmacology-focused degree programmes at postgraduate level. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to undertake scholarly activities and research.
Qualifications required
Lecturer: BSc (Hons) in Pharmacology or related bioscience, PhD in a relevant discipline, and preferably a Senior Fellowship of Advance HE.
Senior Lecturer: BSc (Hons) in Pharmacology or related bioscience, Masters degree, PhD, and preferably a Senior Fellowship of Advance HE.
