Job summary

Myerscough College in Preston invites applications for a Lecturer in Animal Studies. You will deliver Animal Studies courses across the curriculum and lead course management within the Animal Studies team.

You will develop the VLE to a gold standard, contribute to academic enhancement and assessment, and collaborate with external industry partners to enrich the learner experience and help all students reach their full potential.

• Undertake Course management /leadership as required
• Support and participate in external industry events to enhance the learner experience
• Monitor and maintain accurate records of learner progress utilising the recognised College systems
• Take an active part in the development of the VLE site to “gold” standard
• Take an active part in the standardisation and internal verification of Animal Studies courses
• Work within the Animal Studies team to provide an inspirational learning environment
• Be actively involved in the initial and subsequent assessment of learners in order to establish specific learning aims
• Communicate learner cohort progress to other areas as required and keep areas informed of individual learners through recognised channels
• Help learners reach their full potential

Job description

Delivery of Animal Studies courses from across the Animal curriculum as required
