Job summary

Myerscough College is seeking a dedicated lecturer to deliver Animal Studies courses across the animal curriculum, support course management, and lead initiatives to enhance learner experience.

You will contribute to academic enhancement and research activities, maintain learner progress records, support VLE development to gold standard, participate in assessment and standardisation, and foster an inspirational learning environment for all learners.

• Delivery of Animal Studies courses from across the Animal curriculum as required
• Undertake Course management /leadership as required
• Support and participate in external industry events to enhance the learner experience
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of academic enhancement and research activities, as required
• Monitor and maintain accurate records of learner progress utilising the recognised College systems
• Take an active part in the development of the VLE site to “gold” standard
• Take an active part in the standardisation and internal verification of Animal Studies courses
• Work within the Animal Studies team to provide an inspirational learning environment that helps all learners reach their full potential
• Be actively involved in the initial and subsequent assessment of learners in order to establish specific learning aims
• Communicate learner cohort progress to other areas as required and keep areas informed of individual learners through recognised channels
