Job summary

Preston College is seeking a Lecturer - ESOL to deliver engaging ESOL lessons to learners, predominantly aged 15–18, with some adult teaching as needed. You will join our expanding ESOL team, bringing enthusiasm, adaptability and a passion for helping learners develop language skills and confidence for their futures.

The role is a permanent, full-time post (37 hours per week) with salary in the SCP 24–34 range (£32,494–£43,674 per year, pro rata).

Due to expansion in student numbers, the award winning, multi-lingual ESOL team at Preston College is looking for new members of teaching staff to deliver an outstanding learning experience to our growing number of ESOL students. The role is teaching predominantly 15-18 year olds although some adult teaching will be needed. We are looking for confident, adaptive and enthusiastic teachers ready to join an experienced team looking to inspire and motivate learners to develop their skills. You must have a great passion for teaching and take pride in supporting all learners to not only achieve their qualifications but to also develop the skills and attitude they need to succeed in their futures.

Job Details

• Job Title: Lecturer - ESOL
• Salary: SCP 24 £32,494 to SCP 34 £43,674 per annum pro rata (depending on qualifications and experience)
• Hours: 1 x full time, permanent, 37 hours per week
