The Human Resources Department provides HR and Staff Development services to approximately 500 staff and 50 managers. As a team we ensure our service delivery is timely and reliable. Our People Strategy sets out the interventions required to underpin the College's Strategic Plan to ensure our workforce is able to successfully deliver against the College's overall aims and objectives.
Preston College is looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic individual to join its busy HR Team as a Human Resources Assistant Advisor.
You will play a vital role administering the HR tasks required to deliver the people component of the College strategic plan. We are looking for someone with the passion to join the HR team and progress your HR career. You will help drive our College performance by providing a busy recruitment service, finding the best recruits in teaching and support services; accurately inputting data into our integrated HR system and extracting reports for management information and KPIs; together with providing HR advice and guidance to both managers and staff on our terms and conditions of service. You will be assigned a number of key projects around the development of our HR systems, update of our HR templates and forms; people metrics including data collection and the implementation of updated employment terms and conditions.
