West College Scotland invites applications for a Lecturer in Languages and ESOL in Paisley. The post is full-time and fixed-term to 30 June 2027. You will deliver ESOL classes to adults, hold SCQF level 9 or equivalent and a TESOL qualification, and contribute to curriculum development.
The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and a commitment to student success; hybrid / home working is available where appropriate.

West College Scotland is looking for knowledgeable and enthusiastic individuals. You will be qualified to SCQF level 9 and will have a recognised TESOL qualification (Cambridge CELTA or equivalent) as well as evidence of relevant CPD. Candidates must be passionate about supporting and motivating our students. You must be able to communicate effectively and work well as part of a team.
Previous teaching or lecturing experience is desirable; however, if you are new to teaching, we will support you in making this exciting career change.
Successful candidates should be prepared to work towards a professional teaching qualification.
