Job summary

East Lancashire Learning Group is seeking a Professional Construction Lecturer to deliver T Level Design, Surveying and Planning and Civil Engineering at Accrington & Rossendale College. You will develop the curriculum plan for the T Level and build an employer network for placements and projects.

The role requires graduate knowledge in CAD/Revit, Quantity Surveying and materials science, with flexibility to teach evenings and travel across sites. Permanent contract.

Qualifications

• 4 GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above
• A degree or higher in construction/architecture/surveying and design or similar
• Experience in the sector and willingness to engage with schools and employers
• Qualified teacher or strong industry background; trainee post considered
• Willingness to teach in the evenings

Responsibilities

• Delivering T Level Design, Surveying and Planning and Civil Engineering.
• Lead on the introduction of the T Level and develop the curriculum plan for Design, Surveying and Planning for Construction.
• Develop an employer network to support industry placements and employer-set projects for learners completing the T Level.
