Job summary
London South Bank University (LSBU) invites applications for two Lecturer positions in the School of Computer Science and Digital Technologies. You will teach on undergraduate and postgraduate computing courses and run your own research programme.
We seek candidates with a PhD in computer science or related field, strong REF‑level publications, and HE teaching experience. You will contribute to core topics including green computing, computer graphics, AI, and security while advancing inclusive
Qualifications
- PhD in computer science or closely related field, awarded or near submission.
- Peer‑reviewed publications meeting REF standards.
- Higher education teaching experience and the ability to design, deliver and assess modules at more than one level.
- Commitment to inclusive and accessible teaching.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions across our undergraduate and postgraduate computing provision.
- Set and mark assessments and provide feedback students can act on.
- Lead a personal research programme and contribute to existing research themes.
- Collaborate with a team and influence module development and teaching approaches.
