Our School offers a successful range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Computer Science, Data Science and Mathematics, including postgraduate programmes offered through the University of London’s Worldwide programme, and our internationally leading research is organised in three themes – Discrete Mathematics and Algorithms, Data Science and AI, and Logical Methods.
Birkbeck’s established partnership with University of London Worldwide, specifically the online MSc Computer Science, is a key aspect of this role. Responsibility for the overall academic content, delivery and associated administrative processes of this programme, including convening several of its modules which require strong programming skills in Python and Java, form a major part of the workload.
In addition, as a core member of ouracademic staff you will also contribute to the full range of activities within the School including a strong working culture, academic administration, knowledge transfer, and public engagement.

This is a full-time, permanent role, 35 hours per week including delivering lectures in the evening.

£44,247 rising to £60,858, 1.0 FTE. Grade LLEC, quoted is on the College's London Pay Scale which includes a consolidated Weighting/Allowance which applies only to staff whose normal contractual place of work is in the London area.
