Glasgow Clyde College is recruiting temporary Lecturers in Childhood Practice to deliver a range of programmes within the curriculum area. Staff will design, deliver, and assess engaging learning experiences for a diverse group of students at various levels to help them reach their potential.

You will deliver high-quality teaching using learning technologies, support engagement and retention, and contribute to curriculum development while maintaining professional knowledge through ongoing

Qualifications

  • Educated to SCQF Level 8 (HND or equivalent) or possess relevant skills and experience in Childhood Practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to diverse student groups.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Have appropriate IT skills and be confident in using digital learning tools.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and assessment in Childhood Practice using a range of learning technologies.
  • Support students to improve engagement, retention, and success.
  • Deliver structured content to learners from SCQF level 4 to SCQF level 8.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and ensure course content remains current and relevant.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities and maintain professional knowledge through ongoing development.

The Faculty of Health, Wellbeing and Management is looking to recruit Temporary Lecturers in Childhood Practiceto deliver a range of programmes and courses within the curriculum area.

Staff within the team will contribute to the design, delivery, and assessment of engaging learning experiences for a diverse group of students at various levels, supporting them to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and assessment in Childhood Practice, using a range of learning technologies;

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • You will be educated to SCQF Level 8 (HND or qualification of equivalent standard) or have relevant skills and experience in Childhood Practice
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate well to a wide range of student groups;
  • Demonstrate strong organisational skills and the ability to work autonomously; and
