Job summary

Leeds College of Building is seeking a Lecturer in Building Services Engineering to join our team of construction specialists. Roles are available on a full-time or part-time basis, with flexible hours and a focus on aspirational teaching.

Subjects you could be teaching include Principles of Electrical Design and Installation, Science Principles for BSE and Sustainable Construction; we welcome candidates with industry experience who wish to move into teaching, and teacher training is provided.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with adults and young people.
• Certificate in Education is essential or willingness to achieve.
• Experience teaching at National or Higher National level desirable.

Responsibilities

• Teach subjects such as Principles of Electrical Design and Installation, Science Principles for BSE and Sustainable Construction.
• Contribute to course development and assessment within Building Services Engineering.
• Discuss and tailor areas of expertise with interview panel to fit department needs.
