Job summary

Arden University invites applications for a Lecturer in the newly established School of Foundation Degrees, delivering the Computing Foundation Degree. You will teach up to 16–20 hours weekly, support modules, and potentially lead modules while contributing to development and assessment strategies.

The role requires a master’s degree and HE teaching credentials, with a flexible hybrid work pattern across Holborn/Stratford campuses and occasional home working to fit timetables.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent professional qualification in subject relevant to the teaching area.
• recognised HE Teaching Qualification and/or Advance HE Fellowship at FHEA/SFHEA level or plan to gain within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lectures face-to-face and online for blended and distance learning.
• Act as Personal Academic Coach to support student engagement and progression.
• Lead or support creation of modules and refresh learning materials and schemes of work.
• Oversee assessment marking and provide high-quality feedback.
• Collaborate to develop new programmes and align with industry trends.
• Drive innovation in teaching methods and student support.
