Job summary

Waltham Forest College invites applications for an experienced lecturer to cover in the Business, IT and Creative department. You will teach study programmes on AAT from Level 1 to Level 3, including T Level Accounting, and contribute to the broader teaching portfolio.

You will hold a degree in Accounting, Business or a related subject, and ideally a teaching qualification or willingness to achieve one. Strong classroom practice and ability to build positive relationships with learners and

• Knowledge of vocational topics such as Accounting and generic business strategies.
• Experience delivering outstanding teaching and supporting learners to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Teach study programme learners on AAT from Level 1 to Level 3, including T Level Accounting.
• Contribute to the teaching programme including Levels 1–5 in line with Awarding body specifications.
• Carry out assessments, track student achievement and administer courses.
• Develop positive working relationships with stakeholders.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and proactive lecturer to join our team for cover within the Business, IT and Creative department. Your role will include teaching study programme learners on AAT programmes ranging from Level 1 to Level 3, including T Level Accounting.

You will have gained a degree in a relevant subject area such as Accounting, Business, Leadership and management etc. Ideally have a teaching qualification or willingness to achieve this. You will also have knowledge of a range of vocational related topics such as Accounting and generic business strategies.

In addition, you will have experience in delivering outstanding teaching; supporting learners to succeed and developing positive working relationships with stakeholders.

You will have the skills to ensure the College meets the needs of the learners well and that the support is innovative and responsive to emerging trends and needs. You will also have good interpersonal skills and experience of using information systems and databases.

The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the teaching programme of the College including Levels 1-5 in line with Awarding body specifications. In addition, you will have other general curriculum responsibilities including assessments, tracking student achievement and administration of courses.
