Gloucester City Council is seeking a proactive Team Manager for the Leaving Care Service. You will lead a team of Personal Advisers to guide care experienced young people into adulthood, ensuring active involvement in assessments and pathway planning.

You will oversee Pathway Plans, liaise with partners, and drive improvements in service quality, with a focus on safeguarding and positive outcomes for young people aged 16–25. The role is based at Shire Hall and offers a fixed-term contract.

Formación

• Qualified social worker registered with Social Work England.
• Extensive experience of working with children and young people in statutory social care.
• Experience leading Leaving Care Personal Advisers and creating a positive learning culture.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and supervise a team of Personal Advisers to support care experienced young people.
• Oversee Pathway Plans and statutory responsibilities for care leavers 16–25.
• Collaborate with housing, health, education and employment services for coordinated support.
• Drive continuous improvement, performance and best practice across the Leaving Care service.
