Job summary

Springer Nature in London (Hybrid) is seeking a Learning Technologist to maximise the value of the Nature Masterclasses learning technology ecosystem, focusing on ownership and optimisation of the Docebo platform. You will work with cross-functional teams to shape learner support and platform effectiveness.

You will contribute to content development with Articulate Rise and Storyline, ensure QA and accessibility, and use analytics to drive improvements in learner engagement and product

Qualifications

• Experience administering an LMS or LXP.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimise the Nature Masterclasses Docebo platform.
• Serve as SME for Docebo functionality, admin and best practice.
• Design and implement learning pathways and learner experiences.
• Collaborate with publishing, product and learning design teams on improvements.
• Configure platform settings, reporting and LMS processes.
• Support integrations with webinar platforms and other tech.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and manage vendor relationships.
• Develop, maintain and publish digital learning content using Articulate Rise and Storyline.

About the Role

The Learning Technologistis responsible formaximisingthe value of the Nature Masterclasses learning technology ecosystem, with a particular focus on ownership andoptimisationof theDocebolearning platform. Working closely with the Learning Design Manager, PublishingTeamand Product Team, you will help shape how technology supports our learners, improve platform functionality and learner experience, and support the successful delivery of our digital learning portfolio. This is a highly collaborative role that combines platform administration, technical problem solving, systemsoptimisationand digital learning development. Alongside platform ownership, you will contribute to the development, maintenance and publishingof digital learning content using Articulate Rise and Storyline, while supporting quality assurance,accessibilityand continuous improvement initiatives.

Role Responsibilities

Learning Technology and Platform Management

• Own andoptimisethe Nature MasterclassesDoceboplatform.
• Act as the team’s subject matter expert forDocebofunctionality,administrationand best practice.
• Partner with stakeholders to design and implement learning pathways, certificationprogrammesand learner experiences.
• Work collaboratively with publishing,productand learning design colleagues to recommend and implement improvements that increase learner engagement, platformadoptionand operational efficiency.
• Configure andmaintainplatform settings,reporting,and learner management processes.
• Support integrations withwebinarplatforms and otherthird-partytechnologies.
• Investigate,troubleshoot,and resolve platform related issues.
• Manage relationshipswith learningtechnology vendors and technical partners.

Learning Technology Innovation

• Identifyopportunities to improve processes through automation,optimisationand new functionality.
• Research and evaluate emerging learning technologies and recommend opportunities for improvement.
• Advise stakeholders on learning technology capabilities and best practice.
• Support learning technology projects and platform enhancements.

Digital Learning Development

• Develop,maintainand publish digital learning content using Articulate Rise and Storyline.
• Manage updates and enhancements to the Nature Masterclasses digital learning portfolio, ensuring contentremainsaccurate,accessibleand technically robust.
• Liaise with external vendors and freelancers involved in digital learning development.

Analytics and Continuous Improvement

• Develop and maintain LMS reports and dashboards.
• Analyselearner engagement and platform usage data.
• Use learner data, platformanalytics,and user feedback toidentifyopportunities to improve learner engagement and product performance.
• Conduct quality assurance and testing activities across the Nature Masterclasses portfolio.
• Support evaluation and reporting activities.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Essential

• Experience administering or managing a Learning Management System (LMS) or Learning Experience Platform (LXP).
• Experience managing,developing,oroptimisinglearning platforms and learning technologies to improve learner experience and business outcomes.
• Strong technical troubleshooting andproblem-solvingskills.
• Experience using Articulate Rise and/or Storyline.
• Experience conducting quality assurance and testing activities.
• Strong understanding of learner support, platformadministration,and digital learning delivery.
• Excellent project management andorganisationalskills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience using reporting and analytics to support decision making.
• Demonstrable ability to learn and master new systems and technologies quickly.
