Job summary

Capital City College is seeking a Learning Support Assistant Team Leader to drive key operational functions and support students with learning difficulties or disabilities across campus. You will line manage Learning Support Staff and provide direct support to the team in classroom and College settings.

The role is term-time only (38 weeks per year) and permanent, with 35 hours per week (full time). A proactive approach and commitment to inclusive education are essential.

Qualifications

  • You will have a level 2 qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Good general education in English, Maths and/or IT to level 2.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Clear and professional communication skills.
  • Confidence working with systems and processes, and good tracking and IT skills.
  • A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Experience of working with learners with learning/behavioural difficulties and disabilities aged 14 and up.

About The Role
