Job summary

LTE Group's Novus is hiring a Learning and Support Worker to support learners at HMYOI Wetherby. The role is permanent and full-time, offering 37 hours per week within a prison education setting.

The successful candidate will assess and support learning, work with diverse groups, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team while maintaining accurate reports and high standards of customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting assessments and supporting learning of individuals and groups.
• Experience working with learners with a range of abilities.
• Experience in an effective multi-disciplinary team.
• Proven track record of achieving performance targets.
• Demonstrate accurate and timely reporting.
• Demonstrate teamwork and IT proficiency to collate information.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support and learning assistance to learners at HMYOI Wetherby.
• Support learners in a group setting and contribute to inclusive teaching.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver learning and support.
• Assist in meeting performance targets and maintaining records.
