Job summary

Vision West Nottinghamshire College is seeking three term-time posts to support learners with neurodivergent needs. The role is 37 hours per week term-time, with a fixed-term contract until 30 June 2027 and a salary of £26,000 per annum (VBSS Band 4).

You will work under the SEN Manager to embed inclusive practices across the curriculum, using your initiative and strong communication to支持 learners and collaborate with staff.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting neurodivergent learners.
  • Ability to work under the guidance of the SEN Manager across ASD/ADHD/SEMH settings.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both in a team and independently with initiative.

  • Provide a wide range of support services to learners with neurodivergent needs.
  • Work across the college curriculum adapting to target specific and emerging needs.

Job details

Salary The salary will be VBSS Band 4, £26,000 per annum (pro rata for part-time and term-time hours). This is a spot salary.

3x Posts: 37 hours term time only, 37.6 weeks per academic year. Fixed Term contract until 30th June 2027.

You will be part of a team that provides a wide range of support services to learners who have neuro divergent needs.

The ideal candidate will be required to work under the guidance of the SEN Manager: ASD/ADHD/SEMH

across the college curriculum, working adaptively and responsively to target specific and emerging needs.

You are required to have a flexible and professional approach to your work, possessing sound interpersonal and communication skills.

You will need the ability to work as part of a team whilst demonstrating that you can use your own initiative to work independently, without close supervision.
