An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Practitioner to assist students with high needs in their academic journey. About The Role
Please note that this vacancy requires the successful candidate to work 35 hours per week, 38 weeks during term time. The salary will be £16,957 (£24,598 FTE) pro rata per annum. Additionally, a holiday payment of £2,288 will be paid equally across twelve monthly salary payments.
As a Learning Support Practitioner, you will support students with high needs across various subjects and qualifications, from pre-entry/life skills to level 3, including Functional and GCSE English and Maths.
Students may have diverse learning difficulties or disabilities and will require support in their studies, work placements, and possibly their welfare or personal care needs.

About You
Do you have strong communication skills, understand behaviour management, and have a passion for inspiring students? Do you work well under pressure?
This role suits those passionate about supporting students with high needs, especially if you have experience working with visual/hearing impairments, global development delay, or communication difficulties. Experience in supporting students with Autism Spectrum Condition, SEMH needs, sensory, physical, or medical needs is advantageous, but full training will be provided.
