Qualifications

• Commitment to Catholic education and values.
• Passion for supporting children with diverse learning and behavioural needs.
• Nurturing, patient and able to build positive relationships with children.
• Initiative, flexibility, and ability to work in a team.
• Effective communication with students, families and colleagues.
• Experience in Education Support/Teacher Assistant roles.
• Working towards a Certificate III/IV in Education Support or related qualification.

Responsibilities

• Support individual students and small groups across academic, behavioural and wellbeing areas.
• Assist teachers with targeted adjustments and intervention strategies for diverse learners.
• Encourage positive student participation, confidence and engagement in learning.
• Develop supportive relationships with students, staff and families.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and external professionals to support student growth and wellbeing.
• Contribute to the inclusive and faith-filled culture of the school community.
