Job summary

The Richard Huish Trust in Taunton is seeking a Learning Support Assistant and HLTA to support pupils within class activities and contribute to a positive learning environment. The role requires resilience, teamwork and strong communication skills in Maths and English.

The position offers term-time only hours and includes HLTA payment on covered classes. Starting salary is pro-rated for part-time hours, with a permanent, term-time only contract and opportunities to contribute to school events

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and proficiency in Maths and English.
• Experience supporting children in class-based activities is desirable.
• Commitment to helping all children achieve their best regardless of ability.
• Good resilience, positivity, and teamwork in a school setting.

Responsibilities
