Job summary

Glasgow City Council seeks a Support For Learning Co-Ordinator to provide health care support to children and young people with complex medical conditions within an educational setting. The role includes tasks such as tracheotomy care, suction, catheterisation and feeding programmes, with a focus on enabling access to the curriculum.

You will work with school management and external partners, guide support staff, and be part of a flexible working approach.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Competence in delivering tasks to support daily living (e.g., tracheotomy care, suction, catheterisation).
• Experience in educational/care environments and ability to guide support staff.
