Job summary

The successful candidate will perform tracheotomy care, suction, catheterisation, and feeding programmes, while guiding support staff and coordinating with management and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide health care support to children and young people with complex medical conditions to maintain health and access to the curriculum.
• Deliver tasks to support daily living including potential tracheotomy care, suction, and catheterisation; support for oxygen dependent children and feeding programmes.
• Support and guide fellow staff in delivering health-related tasks and care plans.
• Collaborate with school management and external partners to meet ongoing health needs and inform health support plans.
