We have various hours available.

The rate of pay is currently £11.78 per hour. This is a term-time role, paid for 44.02 weeks (37 working weeks and 7.02 paid leave weeks).

Duties
  • Delivering 1:1 support in the classroom with the possibility of small group support.
  • Provision of appropriate additional learning support to learners with learning difficulties and disabilities.
  • Achieving learning outcomes for learners receiving additional support, as detailed in individual learning plans.
  • Maintaining good communication between learning support and curriculum staff to ensure seamless additional learning support delivery to all entitled learners in the most appropriate manner and location.
Skills/Experience
  • Experience or potential to become an outstanding learning support assistant.
  • Experience supporting individuals to achieve their goals.
  • Well-organized with excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
Qualifications
  • Minimum GCSE grade 4 / C in English & Math or equivalent.
  • Level 2 NVQ in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent (desirable).
