Job summary

Brinsworth Academy, part of New Collaborative Learning Trust, is recruiting Learning Support Assistants to work within our inclusion department. You will support students across year groups who experience barriers to learning and act as a lead worker coordinating planning and review of provision with parents/carers.

The successful candidate will be flexible to the busy school day, able to organise and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines, with excellent communication and a proactive,

Location: Brinsworth Academy

Salary: Band D of the School Support Staff Spine (FTE £25,583 - £25,989, Actual Salary £19,532 - £19,842)

Contract Type: 32.5 hours per week, Term Time Only (38 weeks) + 2 INSET Days

Contract Term: Permanent

We are currently seeking to appoint Learning Support Assistants to work within our inclusion department. The role will include working with students in all year groups who experience barriers to learning, being a ‘lead worker’ for a specific number of students and coordinating planning, reviewing the impact of provision with parents/carers.

The successful candidate will be flexible enough to meet the changing demands of a busy school day and able to organise and prioritise workload to meet deadlines and will have excellent communication skills, as well as a good attention to detail and an enthusiastic approach to your work.
