Sun Academy is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join our engaging primary team. The successful candidate will be passionate, dedicated and capable of working with young learners to support development and learning during term-time only.

The role requires excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, a pro-active, independent approach and the ability to relate well to visitors, staff and students. Experience with children and understanding of child development is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Assist with learning activities and support students on an individual basis, in small groups and with whole class work.
• Support the teacher and contribute to a positive, engaging classroom environment.

• Contract Type: Fixed Term until July 2027
• Hours: 31.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time only)
• Scale: NJC 4-6

The successful candidate will have experience of working with young people and children, understand child development and the ways in which children learn, and experience in assisting children on an individual basis, in small groups and whole class work.
