Job summary

St Philip Howard Catholic School in Bognor Regis is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support students with a range of special educational needs. The role runs 32.5 hours per week during term time (39 weeks) with hours 8.30am - 4.00pm, Monday to Friday, and is paid pro rata under WSCC Grade 4, 5.

The post is permanent with on-site work and access to a Local Government pension and staff benefits. The school emphasises safeguarding, DBS checks and a commitment to inclusion.

• Passion for working with students with special educational needs and disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support students in the classroom, in small groups and in one-to-one interventions.
• Assist in developing the Inclusion provision both in and out of the classroom.
