The Burgess Hill Academy in West Sussex is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join our Additional Learning Support team. The role supports SEND/EHCP students across subjects, helping them access mainstream lessons and Intervention sessions.

You will work 30 hours per week term time only plus inset days, with 1:1 and small group support, and use our digital systems. The successful candidate will demonstrate patience, good communication and a commitment to safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Workable knowledge of IT (Word, Excel, Outlook and other Office programs) essential
• Ability to work in a discreet and sensitive manner. essential
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as unsupervised. essential
• Experience of working within a school or with young people
• Experience of working with SIMS

Responsabilités

• Support students to access lessons across the school.
• Develop an understanding of the needs of the students you will be working with.
