Job summary

Mowbray Education Trust is seeking a Learning Support Assistant for its Specialist Provision (SEND UNIT) at Sherard Primary School. This full-time, fixed-term maternity cover role runs 32.5 hours per week, term time only plus INSET days.

The post offers a supportive team environment, with Local Government Pension Scheme membership and a competitive salary range (£18,938.07–£19,238.03 FTE £25,191–£25,590). The position is based in Leicestershire and serves 2,500 pupils across MET schools.

With a remuneration package including:

• A salary of £18,938.07 - £19,238.03 (FTE £25,191- £25,590)
• Local Government Pension Scheme membership
• 5.44 weeks paid holiday entitlement rising to 6.44 weeks after 5 years' continuous service

The post holder will work 32.5 hours per week (5 days), Monday - Friday, (8.30am - 3.30pm) term time only plus 5 INSET days (39 weeks).
