Job summary

West Lynn Primary School is seeking a motivated Small Group/One to One Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team. You will support pupils individually and in small groups, helping them access a bespoke knowledge-rich curriculum while maintaining high behavioural expectations.

You will work under teachers' direction, promoting inclusion and independent learning. The role starts in September 2026, with 28 hours per week across 39 weeks per year, on a Scale C, point 5, £13.26/hour, until 31

• Ability to keep pupils engaged and on track during lessons.

Responsibilities

• Attend to personal and social needs of pupils; support access to learning.
• Support the teacher in managing pupil behaviour and record-keeping.
• Prepare and maintain equipment/resources; assist pupils with literacy and numeracy as directed.
• Attend meetings and training; support with school duties as required.
