Job summary

Brookside Primary School in Stockport is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with SEND, both inside and outside the classroom. The post includes Mid-Day Assistant duties and part-time hours, 12 hours weekly across 2 days, during term time.

The successful candidate will have experience in a school environment and a flexible, well-organised, and enthusiastic approach. The appointment is fixed-term until 31 August 2027, with safeguarding procedures in place.

Mid-Day Assistant Scale 1 Point 3 £592.13 per annum actual salary
12 hours a week LSA 1 hour per week Midday Assistant
Part time, term time 8.45am, 3.45pm, 2 days a week
Fixed term contract until 31/08/2027

The Governors and Headteacher wish to appoint an experienced, flexible, well-organised and enthusiastic person as a Learning Support Assistant to work within a resource classroom. The successful candidate should have experience of working within a school environment, and working with children with additional needs. This role will involve supporting children with SEND inside and outside the classrooms.
