Job summary

Chadsgrove Educational Trust is seeking a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) Grade 2 to assist students with a range of needs across education settings. The role focuses on supporting learning activities, personal care, and safeguarding procedures while working closely with teaching staff and healthcare plans.

Applicants should have GCSE English and Maths or equivalent, First Aid, and experience supporting individuals with additional needs.

Qualifications

GCSE English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent.
Commitment to safeguarding and completing training.
First Aid qualification.
Experience of working with children, young people or adults in education, social care, healthcare or community settings.
Experience of supporting individuals with additional needs.
Ability to communicate in a multidisciplinary team and build positive relationships.
Willingness to travel between sites and in the community.

Responsibilities

Support learning activities and enrichment sessions.
Assist with personal care while maintaining dignity and privacy.
Follow education, behaviour, therapy, risk management and healthcare plans.
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support students with complex needs.
Support students with communication difficulties or using alternative communication methods.
