Job summary

Burton and South Derbyshire College is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant (SEND) to join our Burton-on-Trent campus on a part-time, term-time basis. The role supports High Needs Learners, with hours ranging from 19.5 to 33 per week during term time, 09:00–16:30, with a fixed-term contract until 31 August 2027.

Applicants should be willing to work towards Level 2 English and Maths and evidence of qualifications is required.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting individuals with SEND is a bonus but not a requirement.
• Applicants should be qualified to, or willing to work towards, Level 2 English and Maths. Evidence of qualifications is required.

• Support learners with SEND.
