Tyne Coast College is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant via The Supply Register on a full-time basis. You will support learners in class, in workshops and in small groups, helping them overcome barriers and reach their goals.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people or adults in educational, training, care or support environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, caring and encouraging approach.

Responsibilities

• Providing in-class, one-to-one and small-group support across classroom, workshop and practical settings.
• Supporting students with SEND, learning difficulties and additional learning needs.
• Helping teaching staff deliver engaging, accessible and inclusive learning activities.
