Job summary

Blue Coat Church of England School and Music College in Coventry is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to provide one-to-one support to pupils and run structured interventions. The role includes liaising with parents, adapting resources for SEND needs, and reporting on pupil progress.

Qualifications

• Provide one-to-one support to students in class
• Adapt resources to meet SEND needs
• Liase with parents/carers and provide progress updates

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during Supported Study periods in the Hub Inclusion area
• Supervise students during social time in designated spaces
• Escort and supervise students at start of lessons or during medical needs
• Advise SENDCo on SEND-related matters
• Work with teaching staff to plan and develop resources
• Represent Inclusion in curriculum or pastoral meetings
• Advocate for students with SEND
• Attend regular CPD and safeguarding training
