Job summary

Christ Church Church of England Primary School is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to provide classroom support for pupils, including those with SEND and complex needs, helping raise standards and engagement in learning.

The role sits within a team that values staff development, with CPD and a wellbeing package. An enhanced DBS with a children's barred list check is required, and visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Consistently good Learning Support Assistant experience
• Strong classroom practice
• Experience working with children with SEND and complex needs
• Fluent spoken English

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom support for pupils to raise standards and engagement
• Assist with planning and delivering learning activities for pupils including those with SEND
• Support wellbeing and development initiatives for pupils
