Job description

Join to apply for the Learning Support Assistant-SEND role at Leader Education.

At Leader Education, we are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support children within a SEND school catering to both primary and secondary students, based in Blyth, Northumberland. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with young people and a genuine interest and commitment to helping them reach their full potential.

The normal working pattern is Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 15:30.

Working With Leader Education

The Successful Candidate Will
  • Require an enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
  • Ideally have classroom experience or transferable skills
  • Have a passion for teaching and making learning enjoyable
  • Prepare and adapt learning materials to meet student needs
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to collaborative working
