Job summary

Academics are recruiting on behalf of a successful Trust of SEN and SEMH Schools in Basingstoke. Learning Support Assistants are needed to join the support team on a temp to perm, full-time basis with term-time contracts and ASAP start.

You will support students with special educational and behavioural needs, including autism, delivering small-group and 1:1 assistance in a caring, structured manner.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with special educational and behavioural needs, including autism.
• Ability to work with students 1:1 and in small groups.
• Empathetic but firm approach aligned with SEN/SEMH needs.

Responsibilities

• Support students with special educational and behavioural needs across SEN/SEMH settings.
• Provide 1:1 and small-group assistance following the trust policies.
• Support inclusion and contribute to a safe, structured learning environment.

Academics are recruiting on behalf of a successful Trust of SEN and SEMH Schools in Basingstoke who are seeking a number of experienced Learning Support Assistant's to join their support team.

These are full-time, temp to perm contracts so suited to hard-working Learning Support Assistant's looking to secure a permanent contract.

You will be supporting students with special educational and behavioural needs, including autism and working with them on a small group and 1:1 basis. The ideal Learning Support Assistant will be someone with an empathetic yet firm nature.

Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy
